Don’t Count Yourself Out is a faith-centered resilience journey that walks women from crisis to clarity, pain to purpose and survival to assignment.
You’ve survived more than most people know.
You’ve carried responsibilities you didn’t ask for.
You’ve pushed through disappointment.
You’ve kept going when everything in you wanted to stop.
But somewhere along the way…
you started counting yourself out.
Not loudly.
Not dramatically.
Quietly.
You stopped dreaming bigger.
You stopped believing again.
You stopped expecting more.
DCYO was created for that woman.
What Is DCYO?
DCYO (Don’t Count Yourself Out) is more than a book.
It’s a faith-centered transformation movement for women who are tired of living in survival mode.
It is a call back to purpose.
A return to confidence.
A reset of identity.
DCYO exists to help women move from:
• survival → strength
• burnout → breakthrough
• disappointment → divine direction
• self-doubt → spiritual authority
Who It’s For
DCYO is for the woman who:
• Feels stuck but refuses to quit
• Has faced job loss, rejection, or setback
• Loves God but feels exhausted
• Is rebuilding after disappointment

If you’ve ever thought,
“Maybe it’s too late for me…”
This movement was built for you.
What DCYO Does
DCYO helps women heal identity-level pain.
Not surface motivation.
Not temporary inspiration.

✔ Develop a breakthrough mindset
This is not hype.
It’s structure.
It’s spiritual grounding.
It’s practical transformation rooted in faith.

You may be asking why the Orange and Blue?
I'll tell you why I choose Orange and Blue for my website and now the new book cover. I pray that this will bless you!
The Blue: The Color of Wisdom and Determination
The deep, vibrant Blue represents clarity, wisdom, and focused determination. Think of it as the cool, steady resolve you need before making a big change. It's not a frantic or angry energy; it's the calm, powerful decision to push forward. This color connects directly to the "wise mentor." It's the inner strength and truth that fuels the breakthrough.
The Orange: The Color of Energetic Transformation
The bright, fiery Orange at the point of impact represents energy, optimism, and the explosion of empowerment. This is the moment of breakthrough. It’s the passion, enthusiasm, and success of shattering a limitation. Orange is a highly encouraging and motivational color, making it perfect for representing the successful act of "not counting yourself out."
Together, they tell a story: The logo shows that by using your inner wisdom and determination (Blue), you can create a powerful, energetic breakthrough and transformation (Orange). It’s a visual journey from resolve to liberation.

About the Author
S. Clark
"Don't Count Yourself." This isn't just the title of Shareen's book; it is the mantra that defines her life. Born and raised in Plainfield, NJ, Shareen spent ten years working in the Detective Bureau of the Plainfield Police Division before a layoff pushed her toward a destiny she hadn't imagined.
Refusing to let a setback define her, Shareen returned to school to chase a dream. She graduated from Montclair State University with a BFA in Filmmaking and launched Purple Sky Productions LLC. Today, she is an IMDB-credited filmmaker, photographer and videographer. Her directorial work on the short film Unemployed and her production work on Being Gladys and Bye Love have earned her accolades on the festival circuit.
Shareen operates with a spirit of excellence and compassion. A mother of two grown children. Shareen is dedicated to teaching others that no matter the obstacle, with faith and focus, reinvention is always possible.
Shareen knows firsthand what it means to face life’s storms. After going through a divorce, losing her long-term job, and navigating financial struggles while raising two children, she refused to let her circumstances define her. Shareen enjoys time with family, sunshine-filled days, networking and helping others see that change is possible.
Shareen is called the Architect of Resilience. Her mission is simple yet powerful: I help women break through limitations and walk boldly into God's purpose with confidence, clarity and courage. Thank you for visiting and supporting S. Clark's work.
